TMCS1107A3UQDT 2 Applications
Inverter and H-bridge current measurements • Motor and load control • • Power factor correction • Overcurrent protection • DC and AC power monitoringThe TMCS1107 is a galvanically isolated Hall-effectcurrent sensor capable of DC or AC currentmeasurement with high accuracy, excellent linearity, and temperature stability. A low-drift, temperature-compensated signal chain provides <3% full-scaleerror across the device temperature range. The input current flows through an internal 1.8-mΩconductor that generates a magnetic field measuredby an integrated Hall-effect sensor. This structureeliminates external concentrators and simplifiesdesign. Low conductor resistance minimizes powerloss andInherent galvanicinsulation provides a 420-V lifetime working voltageand 3-kVRMS basic isolation between the current pathand circuitry. Integrated electrical shielding enablestransientexcellent common-modeimmunity.thermal dissipation.rejection andThe output voltage is proportional to the input currentwith multiple sensitivity options. Fixed sensitivityallows the TMCS1107 to operate from a single 3-V to5.5-V power supply, eliminates ratiometry errors, andimproves supply noise rejection. The current polarityis considered positive when flowing into the positiveinput pin. Both unidirectional and bidirectional sensingvariants are available. The TMCS1107 draws a maximum supply current of 6mA, and all sensitivity options are specified over theoperating temperature range of –40°C to +125°C.Device Information(1)Typical Application
