CC1101 is a low-cost sub-1 GHz transceiverdesigned for very low-power wireless appli-cations. The circuit is mainly intended for theISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) andSRD (Short Range Device) frequency bandsat 315, 433, 868, and 915 MHz, but can easilybe programmedfor operation at otherfrequencies in the 300-348 MHz, 387-464 MHzand 779-928 MHz bands.The RF transceiver is integrated with a highlyconfigurable baseband modem. The modemsupports various modulation formats and hasa configurable data rate up to 600 kbps.CC1101 provides extensive hardware supportfor packet handling, data buffering, bursttransmissions, clear channel assessment, linkquality indication, and wake-on-radio.The main operating parameters and the 64-byte transmit/receive FIFOs of CC1101 can becontrolled via an SPI interface.
