The Atmel® | SMART SAMW25 module is based on the industry-leading low-power 2.4GHz IEEE® 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi ATWINC1500 SoC (System on Chip)combined with the ARM® Cortex®-M0+ based microcontroller technology fromAtmel.This turnkey system provides an integrated software solution with application andsecurity protocols such as TLS, integrated network services (TCP/IP stack) whichare all available through Atmel Studio 6 integrated development environment(IDE).The Atmel SmartConnect modules offer the ideal solutions for designersseeking to add Wi-Fi connectivity with minimal previous experience in 802.11, IPStack or RF. Atmel SmartConnect Wi-Fi from Atmel opens the door of theInternet of Things (IoT) to the vast array of battery-powered devices andapplications requiring the integration of WLAN connectivity without compromisingon cost or power consumption.
